Kamoga Eddy

Kamoga Eddy came to us when he was just a boy of about 10 years old, having fled the streets after running away from a home marked by hardship and abuse. His father had traveled to Sudan in search of work, leaving him in the care of a stepmother under whose hands he endured great suffering. Seeking refuge and a brighter future, Eddy found his way to us.

From the very beginning, his determination and brilliance shone through. We were able to support him in going back to school, where he quickly distinguished himself as an outstanding student. Always at the top of his class, Eddy’s consistent hard work and natural intelligence allowed him to advance rapidly in his education.

Today, that same little boy who once faced so many struggles is now a university graduate, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Anaesthesia and Critical Care Medicine from Kabale University.
